It’s important to plan and be prepared regardless of your age. Urgency certainly increases as you age, but it’s never too early to begin. The sooner you start, the better prepared you’ll be.
Legacy planning is more than just having or creating a will. It will include wealth transfer, decision making (financial and health) if you are unable to, charitable giving and end-of life wishes.
Our role in planning for your legacy is to coordinate your wealth management plan with your legacy plan. We work closely with you and your estate planning attorney to ensure that proper accounts are used, accounts are titled properly, asset placement is appropriate, separate investment policies are documented for certain trust types and other estate planning aspects are properly addressed.
